Who we are

A church that has stood on this ground for fifty-five years.

Northmead Assembly of God began in 1971. What started as a small gathering has become a congregation that sends people out — into hospitals, prisons, schools, homes and nations.

We are Pentecostal in conviction and practical in expression. We believe the Word instructs and the Spirit empowers, and that neither was ever meant to work alone. That conviction is in our name, and it shapes how we teach, how we pray, and how we care for one another.

Your first Sunday

Come as you are.
Nobody will single you out.

Services are unhurried — worship, teaching from Scripture, and prayer, without watching the clock. Dress is however you are comfortable.

Children have their own secure programme with check-in and check-out. If it is your first time, find someone at the welcome desk — they will walk you in and sit with you if you would like.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105
Take a next step

Whatever you are carrying, you do not have to carry it alone.

Send a prayer request and it reaches our pastoral team the same week. Give towards the work of the church. Or simply come and sit with us on Sunday.
